SPTechCon Developer 101 Slides and Code

Tags:

Hi all!!! I just got done presenting at the SharePoint Technology Conference here in the beautiful San Francisco! My presentation was actually a full day workshop titled "SharePoint Developer 101". Thanks to all my students! You were all really great and a lot of fun to get to know!

Here's the link to download the project we created today:

And here's my slide deck:

Build the solution, which will generate the solution package in the c:\wsp folder. Then run these STSADM commands to add the solution into the farm, followed by deploying the solution through central administration. After the solution is deployed, you can then activate the various features that we built today.

stsadm –o addsolution –filename c:\wsp\sptechcon.wsp

Subsequent updates…

stsadm –o upgradesolution –name sptechcon.wsp –filename c:\wsp\sptechcon.wsp –immediate –allowgacdeployment

stsadm –o execadmsvcjobs

THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!

Phil
